b. 1968, Munich, Germany
I create bold, commanding paintings that explore themes of female empowerment. My art is meant to claim space, captivate attention, and spark conversation. I draw inspiration from my experiences living and working across Western Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Now based in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, I work from a studio within the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
Though I discovered painting in my early twenties, it was only five years ago that I started sharing my work with the public. Since then, my paintings have been featured in several group and solo exhibitions. I was also honored to have my work featured in Modern Renaissance Arts Magazine, Issue 12 and 27, and HillRag Magazine (May 2024).
